This year’s Dyke March, an non-permitted event held the afternoon before the Pride March, was the largest I’ve ever witnessed — about three times the typical size. Rain put a damper on things for about 20 minutes at the top, but then the sky improved and a spirited march from Bryant Park to Washington Square Park ensued. It all ended with a romp in the fountain in Washington Square.
